100 Women of McIntosh County is a collective of women committed to making a meaningful impact in our local community through pooled charitable giving. By giving together, we amplify our ability to support nonprofits serving McIntosh County.

What is a Giving Circle?
- A giving circle is a group of individuals who pool their donations and collectively decide where the funds are distributed—creating greater impact than individual giving alone.
How does membership work?
- Each member commits to donating $400 per year (or $100 per quarter). At each quarterly meeting, members vote to select one local nonprofit to receive the collective donation.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
- Yes, donations will be made through Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation (CCGF), and CCGF will provide donors with a tax deduction letter following payment.

Membership
How does membership work?

Is my donation tax-deductible?
- Yes. Donations are processed through a partner foundation, making contributions tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Can I pay annually instead of quarterly?
- Yes. Members may choose to pay the full annual contribution upfront or in quarterly installments.
Are administrative fees taken out of my donation?
- No. 100% of member contributions go directly to the selected nonprofit.
Is volunteering required?
- No. While volunteering is encouraged, our primary commitment is financial giving.
Who can join?
- Membership is open to women who support our mission and are willing to make the annual giving commitment.
How do I join?
- Membership sign-up details are available on our Membership page or at any quarterly meeting.
Meetings
When do meetings take place?
- Meetings are held quarterly—typically in February, May, August, and November. Meeting details are shared in advance via email.
Where are meetings held?
- Meetings are usually held in Darien, Georgia, at a local community venue.
What if I can’t attend a meeting?
- While attendance is encouraged, members who are unable to attend will still receive meeting updates and information about the selected nonprofit.
Can I bring a guest?
- Yes, guests are very welcome to attend meetings and learn more.
- Only members may vote.
Grants
What types of nonprofits are eligible?
- Eligible organizations must:
- Serve McIntosh County
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (or a qualifying local program)
- Demonstrate community impact and transparency
How are nonprofits selected?
- Members nominate local nonprofits. From the nominations, selected organizations present at the quarterly meeting. Members then vote, and the nonprofit with the most votes receives the quarterly donation.
Do I still donate if my chosen nonprofit is not selected?
- Yes. All members agree to give regardless of which organization is chosen, ensuring fairness and consistency.
